    Description

    Brass underplug for a Bormann time fuse. Nice green patina and good threads. 1” diameter. This was recovered in the Chancellorsville area a long time ago on private property with permission. Cool item
    Civil War era original paper time fuse marked for a 15 second burn duration.  Production of these was consolidated to the Frankford Arsenal for quality and safety reasons and this one came out of an 1864 dated pack of five of them.
