Canon Ball 3-1/2" Civil War? Weighs 6-1/2 Lbs.

Description

Cast iron/steel canon(?) ball is 3-1/2" diameter and weighs approx. 6-1/2 lbs.
In as found condition with indents, surface corrosion.  Has not been cleaned.

Civil War Artillery Fuse Adapt

on the
Gettysburg Battlefield.
This twisted fuse adapter was fired with an artillery shell during The Battle of Gettysburg. The top portion blew off and the body distorted. It still has dirt from the battlefield and is as dug. This came out of an old collection we recently acquired in Gettysburg.
