Original Civil War Union Leather Artillery Fuse Box -Marked US Navy Yard NY Boston 1864 Approximately"

This is a nicely marked original Civil War naval artillery fuse box. This is the leather pouch that went on the side of the Civil War naval artilleryman. It held his paper time fuzes for firing the cannon shells. The outer flap has an arsenal mark of "US.NY BOSTON” . The original closure tab is present on the bottom of the box as well as the brass finial. On the back of the box it has the original leather belt loop solidly intact. The box measures approximately 4-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches by 2-1/4 inches in overall size.   Check out all pictures for more description and what you will receive, have questions ASK??? before purchasing.
