    Description

    Nice large parrot Shell fragment recovered at a Confederate States artillery position South of Camp Letterman (behind Current Giant Supermarket). This was recently discovered in a old cigar box with the diggers tag and description in Gettysburg. This  shell would have been from Union cannon trying to take out the CSA position. Very nice frag from the battlefield.
    A photo copy of the original tag will be included.
    Very nice Civil War Parrott shell frag recovered on one of the farms on The Manassas Battlefield in Virginia. This one is in solid dug condition and has been cleaned and treated for preservation. The fuse cavity is still very visible on this specimen.
